Get Active In Temiskaming 15th ANNIVERSARY!

Help us celebrate 15 years and over $120,000 raised for our community! We are a series of 6 themed run and walk events in the Temiskaming area, fundraising for local organizations also promoting healthy, active living. Our 2025 beneficiaries are Temiskaming Nordic Team Ski Racers, New Liskeard Special Olympics Ontario Team and L’Association de Canot-Camping du Lac Témiscamingue . All ages run or walk 1km-15km. And new for our 15th year, join the 15KM CLUB! For every 15km you participate in (running or walking) you will receive a ballot to be entered into a draw at the end of the season for great prizes. We love our environment, and are a cup-less series so please bring refillable water bottles and at every event. We also collect gently worn used shoes for Soles 4 Souls Canada so please bring your donations to any of our events and support this great cause.

Sign up for ALL 6 EVENTS for the 2025 season. Save time and money ($15 savings) by registering for all events at once and also be entered into a draw for a $50 gift certificate from BioPed Footcare New Liskeard if registered before April 6, 2025! Choose any distance to register but you can select different distances at each event at check-in if you want to mix it up. Who will we see at all 6 this year???

Chocolate Themed!!! Run or walk 1k, 2k, 5k, 10k or 15k around the streets and paths of Haileybury and North Cobalt. Chocolate milk, chocolate treats and chocolate prizes to be had at the finish line! Register online prior to Sat April 12 at 8pm, or on event morning between 8am-9am (extra $5 cost per participant on event day). All events start at 9:30am. Dogs and strollers welcome.

Pink Themed to celebrate the moms in our life!!! Dress in pink for your chance to win prizes. Run or walk 1k, 2k, 5k, 10k or 15k around the subdivision and country roads in Dymond. Register online prior to Fri May 9 at 8pm, or on event morning between 8am-9am (extra $5 cost per participant on event day). All events start at 9:30am. Dogs and strollers welcome.

Celebrate all the dads in our life, with a yummy brunch at the Cobalt Miners Tavern following your event. Run or walk 1k, 2k, 5k, 10k or 15k on roads around Cobalt Lake. Afterwards, join us at the Cobalt Miners Tavern for a light brunch, free for participants! Register online prior to Fri June 6 at 8pm, or on event morning between 8am-9am (extra $5 cost per participant on event day). All events start at 9:30am. Dogs and strollers welcome.

Colour Themed!! Run or walk 1k, 2k, 5k, 10k or 15k through stations of coloured powder along the beautiful trails of the Nordic Club. Fun prizes to be had at the finish line! Register online prior to Sat Sep 6 at 8pm, or on event morning between 8am-9am (extra $5 cost per participant on event day). All events start at 9:30am. Dogs and strollers welcome although trails are sandy and hilly and may be tough to push through, and expect that some colour may get on your strollers and pets! If you choose to avoid having colour thrown on you, no problem, you can still enjoy a beautiful trail run or walk! All participants will receive a white Get Active shirt (sizes first come first served at check-in).

Halloween Themed! Come dressed up in fun costumes and run or walk 1k, 2k, 5k, 10k or 15k around the streets in New Liskeard. Halloween treats and costume prizes for individuals and groups to be had at the finish line! Register online prior to Fri Oct 24 at 8pm, or on event morning between 8am-9am (extra $5 cost per participant on event day). All events start at 9:30am. Dogs and strollers welcome.

Holiday Themed with Santa and Elves! Run or walk 1k, or 5k around the streets near ESC Ste-Marie. All participants get red and green shirts and santa and elf hats! Register online prior to Fri Nov 21 at 8pm, or on event morning between 8am-9am (extra $5 cost per participant on event day). Portion of our proceeds will also benefit our local Christmas Wish Campaign, and we’ll be collecting non perishables for the food bank. Bring a donation and be entered into prizes. All events start at 9:30am. Dogs and strollers welcome. Pictures with Santa and holiday treats at the finish line.
